Hi, I’m Jessica Laster, founder of SuccessPath Bookkeeping. I’m here to help you make sense of your numbers—because, let’s face it, most of us didn’t start our businesses because we love spreadsheets. But that’s where I come in.
With over 6 years of teaching experience and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction, I’m skilled at explaining complex concepts in a way that makes sense. In addition, my Master’s in Accounting and my background as an auditor give me a strong foundation in financial strategy and attention to detail. I’ve worked with nonprofits, private equity firms, and entrepreneurs across multiple industries, gaining experience assessing profitability and ensuring acquisitions align with agreements. I can confidently say my audit experience makes me a better bookkeeper—because I’ve learned how to check my work and make sure every number adds up.
What makes me different? I believe bookkeeping should be more than just keeping things neat. It’s about helping you understand your business so you can make smarter decisions. When I’m not working with numbers, I’m hiking with my dog, Roxy, or experimenting with new recipes (because who doesn’t want to find out if they can cook like a Food Network star?).
